Pritzker Children’s Initiative
Andrea Palmer is a program officer with the Pritzker Children’s Initiative (PCI), supporting states and communities across the country to expand equitable access to the services and supports families want and need to help their children flourish and thrive by age three.
While with the state, she played an integral role in the development and implementation of Illinois’ Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visitation program (MIECHV) and served as the Chief of the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Division of Maternal, Child and Family Health Services, where she directed the state’s Maternal and Child Health Services Title V Block Grant. She is passionate about the work she is currently doing to help support an environment where every birthing person and their baby have the opportunity to reach their optimal birth outcome.
