Chelsey Leruth

Chelsey Leruth has broad experience planning, delivering, and evaluating health and leadership development programs. She currently serves as director for Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) at IHI where she coaches project teams on MEL planning and implementation, stewards the organization’s learning system, and leads MEL work in the Rise to Health: A National Coalition for Equity in Health Care.
Previously, Chelsey consulted with the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship (ASF) on Fellow training, evaluation strategy, curriculum design, and anti-racism policy development. Prior to her work with ASF, Chelsey managed the internal evaluation unit at Access Community Health Network in Chicago.
Chelsey holds a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Child Development from Tufts University. She is also a certified lactation counselor and passionate about reproductive justice and family health.
You can find Chelsey in her hometown of New Orleans, LA where she enjoys cooking red beans and rice, reading memoirs, and getting outside with her spouse and two daughters.
