Mildred Menos

Mildred “Milly” Menos is the director of Medicaid Product Administration for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, where she leads key innovation and operational initiatives that serve the organization’s more than one million Medicaid members.  Previous to this role, Milly was Horizon Medicaid’s director of community outreach, addressing the rapidly expanding nature of health care, and the societal factors that impact it.  In her time at Horizon, she has overseen the development and launch of Horizon’s first mobile application for Medicaid members, and worked across lines of business to introduce access to doula services to members on the State Exchange, a first for New Jersey.

Prior to joining Horizon, Milly served as the director of Project Management for the Life Raft Group, where her passion for patient advocacy began.  She has received a Patient Advocacy Fellowship from the Drug Information Association and was honored with Seton Hall University’s Young Alumni Impact Award in recognition for her work with the rare disease community.

Milly is an active member of Medicaid Health Plans of America, serving on their Board of Directors and as vice-chair of its Communications Committee.  She holds an MBA in health care from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA from Columbia University, and a BA from Seton Hall University.
