Doula Learning and Action Collaborative Prepares for Launch
Complete the Interest Form for the Three-Year Collaborative, and Look for the Soon-to-be Released Application
Do you want to learn more and take action to advance birth equity and justice? Do you want to work collaboratively to increase access to evidence-based community doula services for families of color who have Medicaid health insurance coverage? The Institute for Medicaid Innovation (IMI) is pleased to announce our upcoming national Doula Learning and Action Collaborative. The planning phase was funded by the Pritzker Children’s Initiative. A new overview document provides information about who can participate as part of a state-based team and the information needed for the application process.
IMI will open the application in the coming days, and we’ll announce specific dates for an informational webinar and due dates for the interest form and application. This summer, IMI will announce the teams that are selected, and later this year, the three-year Doula Learning and Action Collaborative will officially launch. To be sure you are the first to get updates, sign up for IMI’s announcements and monthly newsletter. Until then, we encourage you to start forming a collaborative, state-based team and begin preparing information to submit with your application.
