Serve on an Annual Medicaid MCO Survey Tool Revision Workgroup
The IMI team is in the process of planning the revision of the annual Medicaid MCO survey tool. We anticipate a complete overhaul of the survey to ensure that our questions remain relevant and timely in collecting meaningful data about the Medicaid program. The survey tool revision process will begin in early 2021.
To help us with this effort, we are seeking volunteers to serve on workgroups related to each of the new and existing survey question categories. The categories include:
- High-risk care coordination
- Value-based purchasing
- Pharmacy
- Behavioral health
- Women’s health
- Child and adolescent health
- Managed long-term services and supports
- Social determinants of health
- COVID-19 (new category)
- Health equity & structural racism (new category)
- Telehealth (new category)
Volunteers must have expertise in the category topic as it relates to Medicaid. Each volunteer can serve on up to 4 workgroups. We anticipate that each workgroup will require a total of 4-6 hours of time, including one 2-hour Zoom meeting, during Q1 and Q2 of 2021.
If you, or a colleague, are interested in serving on a workgroup, please email Caroline Adams the categories you would like to volunteer for and a brief overview (i.e., short paragraph or bullet points) of your expertise in each category specific to Medicaid at [email protected] by January 15th.
We are also accepting submissions of potential new questions and edits to existing questions for each of the current and new categories (listed above) in the survey. Please send your submissions to [email protected] by January 15th.
