Kamya Sanjay is a first year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College. Prior to medical school, she was an Associate Director at QV Health Solutions (QVHS), a social impact advisory firm focused on designing, optimizing, and driving capital towards solutions and programs that improve individual and community health across the United States.
At QVHS, Kamya was a passionate advocate for community health workers (CHWs) and focused on identifying sustainable financing solutions for CHW programs and structuring initiatives to maximize health outcomes for Medicaid members and other vulnerable populations. She also holds significant expertise in California’s justice-involved reentry initiatives – a groundbreaking program designed to increase access to care management for incarcerated youth and adults through the CalAIM Medicaid transformation program.
Throughout her career, Kamya has been driven by the belief that Medicaid’s greatest potential lies in financing community-rooted solutions that address the root causes of health inequities and create lasting pathways to wellbeing for those who need it most.
