Welcome Summer Interns
Jennifer E. Moore, PhD, RN, FAAN
The Institute for Medicaid Innovation welcomed its summer interns this week. The three undergraduate students are participating in the University of Michigan’s Public Service Internship Program (PSIP). The program prepares undergraduate students to obtain summer internships in Washington D.C., educates them to build career development skills, and supports participants while living in D.C. This is the oldest and largest intern program in the country and is kicking off its 48th summer this week.
The IMI interns will be working on developing state fact sheets, social media infographics, participating in the opioid misuse summit, and developing a Medicaid 101 issue brief. We are delighted to have future policy wonks with us!
