As a C-level executive and Board Director, Jimmie Paschall has navigated a vast array of business challenges with companies ranging from startup to Fortune 500. She is known for contributing business wisdom and broad, diverse perspectives to help steer decisions and achieve strategic goals.

Currently a member of several boards of directors, Jimmie has been a wise counsel throughout various leadership changes, merger integration, and engagement with investors.

As head of Enterprise Diversity and Inclusion for Wells Fargo, she was instrumental in elevating the company’s reputation and ranking as a top employer.

Leading Human Resources for XO Communications, she helped guide the company through massive change, from rapid growth to downsizing and eventual acquisition by Verizon.

In numerous executive roles with Marriott International, Jimmie strengthened business performance through adept talent strategies that fostered the retention and advancement of people aligned with the customer-first culture.

Her experience spans several industries. As an executive, she has been a trusted advisor to CEOs, leadership teams, and boards on critical issues related to business performance. As a board member, she contributes valuable insights to full board discussions involving corporate strategy, talent retention, mergers and acquisitions, compensation and benefits, and the strategic value of initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Jimmie is a natural relationship builder with an extensive network of contacts across corporate, civic, and nonprofit circles. She is known for constructively challenging the status quo—respectfully exploring the “why” behind existing thinking and practices, introducing new ideas, and helping to create a path forward.

In addition to The Institute for Medicaid Innovation, she currently serves on the boards of Lightcast, Calibr Global Leadership Network ,and Bridges from School to Work. Previously, she was Board Director for Wells Fargo Foundation, Volunteers of America, and the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.

A long-time resident of the Washington DC area, Jimmie earned a BA in Communications from Howard University and is a graduate of Leadership Washington and the Marriott Executive Development Program.
